日前中央流行疫情指揮中心專家張上淳提出警告,「肥胖」恐為感染嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎(COVID-19,簡稱新冠肺炎)和導致重症的高風險因素之一,雖目前還沒有正確的資訊確認肥胖使否與新型冠狀病毒變化有關,但以現有確診個案觀察有這樣的現象。 根據指揮中心資料確診個案第108案,是一名40多歲奧捷旅遊團的領隊,體重達上百公斤,加上其他2名同團已確診且需使用呼吸器的重症病患,皆為體重偏重
